• Coordinate the production flow for one or more products;
• Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delays;
• Determine the manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover the production demand;
• Assign workers and other personnel to specific production operations;
• Change of schedule based on production needs;
• Monitor the work to ensure that it will be finished on time and within budget;
• Dealing with issues as they arise with the goal of minimizing disruption;
• Obtain production information (number of finished products, percentage of defective products, etc.);
• Prepare and present performance reports;
• Ensure the proper organization of documentation;
• Collaborate with staff in charge of quality control, warehouse and other employees.
• Proven experience as a production planner;
• In-depth knowledge of production organization and quality control principles;
• Experience in MRP II (manufacturing resource planning);
• Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems;
• Good level in mathematics and statistics;
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills;
• Excellent communication skills;
• High school diploma: training or certification is preferred.
