Responsibilities
- Main responsibilities
- Install and uninstall different molds on presses, including all water, air, hydraulic connections.
- Perform the start-presses – stroke layout adjustment (Set-Up).
- Make the installation of secondary equipment.
- Adjust parameters using standard presses and suggest any necessary improvements.
- Intervene proactively on the equipment to ensure proper operation and employee safety.
- Complete reports, forms, and timesheets when necessary.
- Follow the safety standards and guidelines in place in order to meet quality and productivity requirements while respecting the production plan.
- Ensure to keep the work environment clean and safe at all times.
Requirements/Skills Required
- Qualifications required:
- Experience in the plastics industry – injection molding;
- Reliable with a proactive and positive attitude;
- Excellent manual dexterity;
- Highly developed analytical skills;
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and provide feedback;
- Self-starter, resourceful and a good team player;
- French or English, spoken and written.
